I have to agree with you, L.C. and I have to tell you that it never occurred to me to frame my lavender! It’s as if you are looking out of a window into a beautiful garden! Your sketch captures the quiet beauty of the lavender perfectly!

The shading looks so smooth. I’ve never been able to get mine quite that smooth and would love some tips if you’re willing to share!

Hi Annie, I draw a lot of from observation. I’ve found the mind often plays tricks on me when I draw from memory. Also, just the act of observing often helps me to focus and therefore switch off my mind and relax 🙂

First time I draw flowers, I am proud of my self 🙂
I love the smell of lavender, so during the drawing session, I put a diffuser lavender organic essential oil in my safe space. Thank you so much Shivani !

I have found that sketching and drawing is a great help when I’m feeling anxious and overwhelmed-it’s actually what got me started attending Shivani’s sessions! That was over a year and a half ago!
