Yes, this is digital, my workflow isn’t designed for this type of coloring so I couldn’t get it better in the short time but at least it was a good exercise.
Thank you for sharing, Lydia! I love seeing your work pop up in the feed and I love that you added the color and the glass for some delicious lemonade!
Thank you for sharing your work, Christal! I love the proportions and the way your nestled both the sliced and whole lemon into the leaves…it makes your sketch feel safe and comforting!

It was a really good session as it relaxes without the pressure of doing something very well.
Hi Sevket! Isn’t it amazing how relaxing these drawing sessions are? I am always surprised too, that when the pressure is removed, how we all rise to the occasion and produce some incredible art! You have created a nice piece today! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for sharing, Cathy! I agree with Shulamit-your sketch brings such a relaxing vibe with the subtle use of colors. I’m glad you took the break to join us and create this piece of art!
Wasn’t today’s session great, Karina? And your lemons are too! The texture you added and the subtle highlights make them look so realistic-I feel like I can reach out and grab them!
I had a great time thank you, it’s been so ling since I drew, I knew I was in safe hands coming back to your session. Lovely way to chill on a sunday evening.
Igor-welcome back! It was nice seeing you again for today’s session. Your lemons look amazing and even if you didn’t have time to finish you can always add to your work later today and upload again!
Welcome, Sarah! We are so glad that you joined us today for the first time and hope to see you again in the future! Drawing definitely has a way of relaxing us, doesn’t it?
I’m so glad you find the Draw your Stress Away session relaxing, Katy! I would say for a novice you are doing amazing! Was there any part of today’s session that you found particularly relaxing?
Yay! I see them now, Patty! They are beautiful! How did you select the colors that you used? I’m curious specifically which colors you used on the leaves-every time I try to use colored pencil things don’t turn out looking realistic, but yours looks perfect!

A lovely time back drawing with you Shivani. It’s been such a long time and my inner perfectionist stayed away. Perfect way to end a Sunday evening. Hope to join for more soon xx
“When life gives you lemons…get some perspective!” LOVE IT! That’s a great quote Ruth! So glad you made it to day’s session and hope that you can join us for the next one!

Thank you so much! This was my first time joining, and I feel so much calmer
Thanks for joining us Marcus. I’m so glad to hear you’re excited about drawing again. Your lemons turned out lovely! Hopefully we’ll get to see you at another session soon. 🙂
Thank you, Shay! I liked the feeling of community at the session, something I don’t usually experience when I draw. I also appreciated the accessible subject matter. Anyone could reproduce the lemons, but we were also encouraged to add our own personal touches and make the work our own.
I have to agree with you-it’s nice to feel like we belong to something bigger, but we can do so from the comfort of our own homes. I also appreciate how Shivani seems to make any subject accessible and encourages us to make it our own. There have only been a couple of times where I wasn’t satisfied with my sketeches from the sessions-yet even then she made me feel like it was ok. I appreciate the low-stress-no-pressure approach!
So nice, Luda! Your creativity really shines here! The contrast between your leaves and your lemons really makes a difference. I’m so glad you found the session meaningful!
Thank you for joining us Miri and for sharing your lovely sketch! I love the highlights on the outside of the sliced lemon. Your quote is written in Italian-am I correct that it translates to “Life gave me lemons?”

This was nice and I gave myself room to make mistakes and keep going! Tried to finish by the end of the session. I was trying to mix colors for my leaves but worked with what I had. Thanks, timing myself was a bit fun. I had to make a decision and move on! 🙂
Thank you for sharing, Mica! I LOVE that you gave yourself room to make mistakes and keep going-that’s what it’s all about. Your sketch is delightful and has such a sense of warmth to it!
That was so fun! I enjoyed the lemon theme today, very fun to work with! Everyone did such an awesome job! 😀
Here are my lil lemons! Spent a few extra minutes adding some finishing touches 🙂
Hi Jeanne! I struggle with that too! I haven’t quite found the pencil I like so that the shading turns out just right. What are you using to sketch with?

Incredible job, Alina! What medium were you using? Colored pencil?
Usually I make it too dark, this one is too light
Hi Jeanne! I struggle with that too! I haven’t quite found the pencil I like so that the shading turns out just right. What are you using to sketch with?

Sometimes we need to just step back and do something just for us, don’t we?
Thank you for the relaxing class Shivani ❤️
It was a pleasure Anu. And always nice to see you again! 🙂 You’ve got some great lemons there! I love your shading.
Hi Anu! So glad you enjoyed today’s session! Your sketch turned out amazing! What were you drawing with today?
Hi Shay, I used a Staedtler pigment liner pen to draw the outline and some shading, and the rest of the shading is from a 2B pencil.
